One of my favorite places on earth is 3 minutes from my house and even less from the studio. Arrow (fluffy white thing) loves this beach too. She gets to rinse off all the dust she seems to attract like a magnet. She's been with me through it all and watched me find my way.

I've been a ceramic artist for 22 years, finding my style and proficiency with the clay. My love and appreciation for asian forms and traditions have inspired a natural development of my "Japanesque" style. I love giving my attention to fine detail and seeking original new designs. The better I'm able to do this, the greater the demand for my work is.
 - This tells me I'm in the right place, doing the right thing.

The Art
The pieces are white high-fire stoneware. Clean lines and soft forms drive my hand thrown work. In combination with metallic glazes, the carved and exposed stoneware creates a contrast that constantly inspires me. Bamboo and raffia work as the natural elements to complete and balance each piece between shaped and organic elements.
